This radiopharmaceutical is from the category of colloidal radiopharmaceuticals of Iran, which is produced using Phosphorus-32 radioisotope. Chromate phosphate radiopharmaceutical is used to treat patients with rheumatoid arthritis and patients with recurrent bleeding in the joints due to hemophilia. The particle size used in this radiopharmaceutical is between 1 and 5 microns. Direct injection of this radiopharmaceutical into the joint reduces swelling and joint pain in patients.
